We’re living in a time when the distribution of information is happening at breakneck speed. Because of our shared delulu playground (aka social media) it’s also an increasingly collective experience.

The 'where were you when' phenomenon used to be about where you “were” when you found out about a global event—like the JFK assassination, 9/11, or Big moving to Paris.
But now, we all know where we were during moments like Scandoval, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's pap walk, Donald Trump assassination pt 1, and Donald Trump assassination pt 2—we were online.

‘What @ told you’ is the new ‘Where were you when,’ and the answer and spirit around that information will be entirely shaped by the spaces you inhabit online. Was it Pop Crave, The Cut, or pump.fun that told you about the latest global news moment?
i found out liam payne died through pump fun
