The more than 17,000 quote tweets are a honeypot, highlighting what might be the best days of our lives, with a few key themes emerging.

What strikes me as I go down this virtual memory lane is that the communal experience of the internet is its most defining quality. Whether it was a clip I could recall word for word or a K-pop reference that well and truly was over my head:

One thing was clear: each memory centers on the idea that these moments only hold meaning when shared with someone—that their value in the world relies on someone else bearing witness alongside you. In this case, that someone is aunty.
