Bonjour,
We were back in the studio this week. The topics ranged from Brian Armstrong vs. Bryan Johnson to a Girl Scout Cookies business breakdown. Plus, special guest Jose Mejia joined us to talk about “taste discourse” (sorry). Watch below!
ily,
Very sexy charts coming out of Polygon these days.

A few things are happening on the internet this week that, to me, ladder up to the same inescapable truth: being hot is a gateway to power. This isn’t novel information, but a new set of characters is delivering the message.
A rumor spread like wildfire in my corner of the internet that Peter Thiel, one of the most powerful men in Silicon Valley, was bankrolling Clavicular, the streamer and looksmaxxer who has risen to fame over the last few weeks in a way that can only be described as annoying.
Two weeks ago, Clavicular visited Arizona State University and had a bad week for life but a good week for TV. Not only did he get frame-mogged by a frat leader…
But he was also arrested for possession of falsified identification and illicit substances (i.e., a fake ID and drugs). Which, I’m sorry, but if that’s the case, it would be more efficient to just convert ASU into a prison.
He was released the next day, and the charges were dropped just in time for him to make it to New York Fashion Week. For some reason, the internet deemed this highly sus. A powerful backer with government ties must be involved, and here’s where Peter Thiel enters the chat.
Two things are important to know here: (1) both of these men are highly problematic and are grouped together online in a right-coded, deeply misogynistic ecosystem often referred to as the manosphere, and (2) Peter Thiel is gay. He was publicly outed in 2007 by the then-famed blog Gawker. He later funded the takedown of the site via a lawsuit brought by Hulk Hogan.
Thiel being gay seemed to fuel speculation about his support of this troubled young man.
As with much of this red-pill, looksmaxxing, Andrew Tate-esque masculinity, the line between gay and straight is razor thin and the homoeroticism is off the charts. As a case in point, I present to you the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Kid Rock video that assaulted my eyeballs this week.
There is no evidence that Clavicular is our next Thiel Fellow, and Clavicular even denied the allegations in his GQ profile, but coming off the heels of this non-stop barrage of Thiel speculation on the timeline…
Another article about gay men and power took its place.
And to all this I say: I didn’t need to read this to know hot people privilege is real. I saw Wuthering Heights in theaters.
