The Democratic National Convention was held over the last few days in Chicago, with speculation building throughout the 4-day conference about which celebrity powerhouse would be the closing act.
All the good Twitter addicts fired up their VPNs and took their talents to Polymarket, to use their unique insights (internet addiction) and insider information (TMZ scoop) to place bets on the who, what, when, where of the final night.
TMZ falsely reported it would be Beyonce, the chat thought it would be T*ylor Sw*ft, and some worst case scenario predictions were….
Turns out, we all whipped ourselves into a frenzy for no reason at all. There was no A-lister performance last night, but fortunately, I had the presence of mind to clear my position before it was too late.
Despite the let down, Twitter was at its best and that’s a W for us all.
